USFans QC Photos: A Practical Inspection Checklist
Warehouse photographs help you evaluate visible details before a parcel is submitted; they do not certify an item.
Match the order
Compare the order reference, quantity, colour, size label and variant against your saved listing. Check that the photographs correspond to the item you selected. Screens and lighting can affect colour, so treat borderline differences carefully.
Inspect the details that matter
For clothing, examine seams, print placement, zips and the measurement points relevant to fit. For footwear, compare the pair, soles, stitching and any visible marks. For accessories, inspect fastenings, edges and included parts. A clear close-up is more useful than a general request for better quality.
Know what photos cannot prove
A photograph cannot establish authenticity, durability, fibre composition, hidden damage or long-term performance. If a question needs a measurement or a different angle, ask whether it is available and check any applicable charge. Do not present a photograph as a product guarantee.
Decide while options remain open
Review the live order’s return rules, seller conditions, deadline and any potential costs. A return request is not an automatic refund. Record the discrepancy and the response, then make the keep-or-return decision before combining items into a parcel.
